Backend Engineer

About the Role

About the Role We are looking for a Backend Engineer to design and develop the server-side logic and database systems that power our manufacturing software. You will create scalable, reliable, and efficient backend solutions that support production teams, integrate with other systems, and ensure the smooth operation of critical manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend software solutions for the manufacturing industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices and standards.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Solve technical challenges faced by manufacturing professionals in their daily operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of backend technologies, particularly Node.js.
• Understanding of relational and non-relational database concepts.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and algorithms.
• Experience with source control tools (Git).
• Strong self-critical mindset, complemented by creativity and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Ability to interpret business needs and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
